May I ask if this is the formula you are looking for:
LSplit([column name],2," ",1)
Basically the formula is read out as split the column from the left into 2 parts, the separator is a space an I would like to retrieve the 1st split part.
Though you would need to create 2 formula fields for this one to retrieve the 1st part and the other to retrieve the 2nd part.
