    Models Producing Dupe Rows

    Jason Chi

Does anyone have issues of duplicate rows produced when trapping data?  Sometimes I get duplicate rows when trying to capture data from PDFs.

For example, rows I want to capture:

      Date              Activity

      01/01/2016    Activity 1

      01/02/2016    Activity 2

      01/03/2016    Activity 3

Rows are duplicated in the "Table View":

      Date              Activity

      01/01/2016    Activity 1

      01/02/2016    Activity 2

      01/03/2016    Activity 3

      01/01/2016    Activity 1

      01/02/2016    Activity 2

      01/03/2016    Activity 3

It doesn't happen a lot but enough to capture my attention.

          Hi Jason Chi,

Have you check your Model if there Templates that capturing the same Trap Line?

You can try to verify it first.

          Thanks.

            Hi Jason,

To check for duplicates you may create a filter to show duplicate rows based on Date and Activity.  In creating filters, the advanced tab allows you select duplicate rows only.

Once you have duplicate rows, you can use the "Find in Report" feature and see whether it is coming from your report.  Highlight row you want to check and click "Find in Report" button on the ribbon.  If it is coming from your report you can now fine-tune your traps to exclude the duplicate rows.

If trapping can't solve the duplicate rows, you can remove duplicate rows by creating a filter as well.

            Hope this helps.
