    Monarch Modeler v5 and v12

      Good afternoon,

       

      Is it possible for Monarch Modeler (Thick Client) v5 to run on the same Client Workstation as Monarch Modeler v12, if installed to separate folders?

       

      Is it possible for Monarch Modeler (Thick Client) v5 to run on the same Server as Monarch Modeler v12, if installed to separate folders?

          Hi Christian,

           

          I believe if you install Monarch version 5 on a machine with an existing version 12, compatibility issues on technical specifications will be encountered since version 5 was released years ago.

              Hi Paul,

               

              Thank you for the reply.

               

              The version 5 that is currently in place has already had modifications made to the registry in order for it to be able to function properly on Windows 7.

               

              Would it be possible to install version 12 on the same Windows 7 workstation, running independent of version 5?

               

              The purpose of this is to allow the end user to get through their migration process.

                  Christian,

                   

                  If that's the case I can't see no problem both versions of Monarch appearing on one machine. Monarch does not overwrite previous versions unless Update installer was used to upgrade Monarch. It is being treated as 2 separate applications.
