    Monarch - Data extraction tools

Has Monarch Pro been totally discontinued or absorbed into some larger product.  The old $350 price range was quite reasonable for small businesses in need of data extraction tools.  I believe I have been priced out of upgrading to any newer releases.    Is there any competition that still supplies data extraction tools at reasonable prices?

The Datawatch Monarch Professional product now carries the name ‘Datawatch Modeler’, a name that more accurately echoes its powerful ability to capture, transform and model data from virtually any source. The features and functionality of the product have not changed.

Just to expand a little, Modeler is better than Monarch in a few ways - it runs on modern versions of Windows, supports modern versions of Excel, and can handle bigger data volumes, more external look ups, more multi-column regions, and so on. It's worth noting that desktop automation was deprecated since v11.5, so you can't call Modeler with a batch file or through COM like before.
