I am trying to split out the cities from the data below. I cannot think of how to do this in Monarch. Can someone please assist? Thanks!
FISHERSVILLE VA 22939-2605
PLANO TX 75023-6010
S PASADENA CA 91030-4929
STRASBURG OH 44680-9736
You can do this two ways, with the POSTAL trap or with a simple calculated field.
Your data looks clean, so the second approach might work: rsplit(intrim();3;" ";3)
Hope this helps,
Thanks for the quick response. I forgot about the Post trap. I will have to give that a try. However, the formula worked perfectly!
The Address Block functionality is another option for dealing with formatted addresses - in fact the preferred option in most cases where the original data source has usefully structured addresses.
Have you looked at that route already?
