If I'm not mistaken, an 835 report is standard in US healthcare data. I'd suggest reaching out to Joe Berry - http://www.monarchforums.com/member.php?216-Joe-Berry - who specialises in this field. Datawatch have a white paper available: http://www.datawatch.com/_about/news_events/news_120424-Datawatch-835-Healthcare-Solution.php - I don't know if they provide a model to share as well.
I think we could all benefit from an online library of models that we could share...
I am a healthcare consultant and deal with 835 data on an a daily basis. I would be happy to share. Let me know what data you need and I'll see if I can help.
I am working on a project and need to be able to load the 835 remits into a table in our data warehouse. Before I work my fingers to the bone creating a model to parse out the data, I thought I would check and see if anyone has built this that would like to share. So if you have a model that you wouldn't mind sending me that would be awesome. I can make any modifications necessary it would just save me a lot of work.
What data are you desiring to extract and add to your data warehouse. I normally do not work directly with the 835 file itself. Are you wanted to extract claim level detail or summary data? There are solutions for both, but most of my data extractions are claim level data related to deductible, co-insurance, non-covered, etc.
Let me know and I will see if I have a model that comes close.
