VB Script to open excel file and save it as PDF

      Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to insert a script on a project in datapump that will open the excel file after it exports and save it as a PDF?  Is this possible?  Any help is appreciated!

I see that Office 10 has the option to save an excel document as PDF.  You could always write a VBA module in Excel to take advantage of this feature and call the VBA module through a batch script that is executed from Data Pump in the post process script.

              Hello Zach

Monarch can export to PDF from the Report, Table, or the Summary window.

Why not duplicate the project export in Monarch so it produces a PDF directly?

I would have thought that this would be easier than scripting, especially if you then want to get Datapump to name and distribute the export.

              Best wishes
