    Linking Different Projects

      Hi,

       

      I have 2 different projects and want to link them. Is it possible in Monarch. I am using the latest version. Please advice.

          You can 'link' the output file as an external lookup in the 2nd project, if you're looking to merge the data.

                  Hello Mukesh,

                   

                  If you make a project export from Project #1, exporting the table as an Access file called Output1.mdb, then you can use this in the next project.

                   

                  In Project #2, go to the Table window, go to the Data menu, select "External Lookups" and define a lookup to Output1.mdb.

                   

                  You will have to define the fields that you want to join the data on, and which fields you want to import.

                   

                  This lookup is then saved in the model definition of the second project.
