    Importing .txt as HTML

    thompssc _

We are receiving an HTML document with a .txt extension which will then be automatically processed by Monarch using DataPump. Is there any way to force Monarch to read the file in as HTML? If I try to open it without changing the extension it reads the file in as plain text.

      Thanks

          Hi Scott,

One hack that might help is to have a first project that reads the text file and exports the report as a plain text file with .html as a file extension?

          HTH,

Monarch currently does not read HTML files as an HTML file, just as you are finding out. Are you just parsing the data for export to a report or as Olly stated, does your export need to be in HTML format?
