I have created a Monarch model that extracts data from a pdf order. The line items of the order(like item, quantity, price etc) are extracted in the detail template and customer po, customer name all that information is extracted in the append template. As per the existing model, the append template fields (customer name, customer PO) are all added to the rows of detail order line item data in the table.
What I want to do is to export this table into an excel file so that I get the customer po, customer name etc (append template fields) as first row and succeding rows should be all the order line items(detail template) in the excel export. Can this be achieved through monarch?
Yes, you can do this with Monarch.
Define a Summary in Monarch with the Customer fields as Key fields and the order line information as Item fields. If you want to aggregate anything (like Sum() of the order amounts) define these as measure fields.
You can export a summary to Excel directly from Monarch.
