I dont believe there is an upgrade version to go from v7.0 to 10.5. You may need to by the full version of 10.5 pro.

              Hello tightwaud,

Elgin's right, AFAIK - upgrade versions install only from v8 or v9 to v10.

To install an upgrade from v7, either install an intermediate version, or uninstall and do a clean install of v10.

In some rare instances, registry keys remain from earlier versions, and I've seen one instance where a user who had installed every version from v3 Standard to v7 Pro had an issue upgrading to v8 Pro, caused by a rogue registry key from an old Standard version. You'll need sufficient privileges to clean out the Datawatch registry keys if you encounter that, but it's hopefully unlikely...

              Best wishes,

              Olly

I believe their is a removal tool that support has that will clean up the registry after uninstall is completed.

Thanks guys.  Will our Monarch Models and Projects be compatible with v10.5?  We use Autoscript to run our Monarch Projects, and Autoscript is not supported past v7 to my knowledge.  Will these have to be converted to .bat files?

                    Thanks in advance,

                        Hi tightwaud,

Autoscript? That rings a very distant bell. Check out www.********************[/url] for the free Batch file Generator that will work with v10.5. Could you post a sample Autoscript file here between CODE tags for us to check format they used?

v7 was the version of Monarch that could save model files as both .mod format and .xmod format. If your models and projects are in .xmod and .xprj then you'll be fine. If you have .mod and .prj files, it's maybe worth checking out the Monarch Utility which can convert these.

                        Best wishes,

                            Thanks Olly,

We will checkout the resources you provided.  He is an example of one of our Autoscripts.  It merges three files and maps a hospital service code to a hospital service description.

Your script looks fine. After you convert all of your models/projects to xmod and xprj the script will need to be updated. If I remember correctly, all of the switches are the same from the command line.
