This is probably going to sound like an odd question, but have you changed your system's [URL="http://www.monarchforums.com/showthread.php?p=12748"]printer[/URL] lately?
There have been cases with v8 and v9, iirc, where, for whatever reason, certain printer drivers seem to affect Monarch's ability to export to files.
Maybe try to activate another printer before exporting. Any improvement?
Also, fwiw, always try to export to your local C: drive instead of a network drive.
