Instalation problem on Windows 2008 32-bit

Updated to reflect 64 bit, not 32 bit (sorry)

I am a long time Monarch user, starting back in the DOS days, and have purchased upgrades for every Windows versions thru v9.

As I have upgraded PCs and OSs over the years, I have had to install Monarch Pro for Windows v4 before I can install any of the Monarch version upgrades.  It has always worked fine this way.

I am recently upgraded to Server 2008 (64-bit) /Iand it will not run the v4 setup program, reporting that it is incompatible software.

Please advise me on how to install my v9 upgrade without the ability to first install v4?

          Hello Sunapee,

The only way around it is to get a licence key for the latest version. You can probably use the upgrade disk to install a full version (I think that's the case from v9 onwards) but the licence key triggers the installer to require a registry entry from the previous Monarch version. If you contact Datawatch sales or support they should be able to provide you with a full licence key.
