    How can I turn off Monarch echo to screen

    GMann _

      I am trying to run a VB.net application using the Monarch32 Object on a windows server 2000 machine.

      The applicaton is complied using the 2.0 Dot Net Framework and can be run manually on this server.

      However when we try to run the app as an unattened process under the Windows Task Manager the program aborts with the following message:

      Showing a modal dialog box or form when the application is not running in UserInteractive mode is not a valid operation.

      Specify the ServiceNotification or DefaultDesktopOnly style to display a notification from a service application[/B].

      Here is the code that is trying to run the Monarch Object:

                  MonarchObj = GetObject("", "Monarch32")

                  If MonarchObj Is Nothing Then

                      MonarchObj = CreateObject("Monarch32")

                  End If

              Catch e As Exception

                  '    MessageBox.Show("The Monarch software failed to open please notify your support staff, the program will terminate!" & vbCrLf & e.Message)

              End Try[/B]

      This is straight out of the Monarch programmer's guide.

      So I understand the error message what I can't seem to find in the documentation is how to turn off the various screens that are "echoed" to you.

      Thanks for any Insights,
