Help with .bat and filenames with dates

    mariner _

Hello the forum!  I'm a long-time Monarch user, just upgraded to v8 and trying to get away from using autoscript.    Gotta question for you.

I'm working on a .bat file that opens a text file,

models to it and exports the resulting table.  The text file is a report; a new one is created every day with the date as part of the filename, and all of them reside in the same folder.

      filename looks like this: filename060518.txt

I would like my .bat file to recognize the current report without being told the specific filename...is there some kind of 'wildcard-like'

function that I could use to identify the date portion of the filename?

If anybody has a solution for this I would appreciate it...thanks!
