Monarch Functions Reference Guide

Will the  Monarch Functions Reference Guide be updated soon with the new functions available in V7?

Also, I had mentioned a function that's available in Access, called Nz(), Syntax:

      Nz(Field,ReturnValue)

Which would replace the following IF() function:

      IF(IsNull(Field),ReturnValue,Field)

Another interesting string function is String(), Syntax:

      String(Number,Character)

      Ex:

      String(10,"*")

      returns

      **********

This would be nice when you need to pad a string with a certain number of characters, especially when you want to pad more than 10+.

      Just some thoughts.

The functions reference PDF will be updated for V7.

The NZ function will go on the Monarch 8 future features list.

The String issue is resolved in V7, with the addition of a fill argument to the STR function,

          e.g Str(ACCOUNT_NO,15,0,"*")

This will convert Account_No to a string of 15 characters with no decimals, using the * character to fill up to 15 characters.

Thanks, you're right about the STR() enhancement, I had forgotten about this new feature.
