This means there is some kind of corruption in the database. We use the Microsoft Jet engine for this operation, so here

What I find very strange is that this error should only occur when opening mdb files, not dbfs.
Maybe you should download and install the latest [url="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q239114&id=Q239114"]latest Jet 4.0 Service Pack[/url], to see if that resolves the problem.
