Monarch command line - license admin

    stembe _

      Hello Everyone,

We have a network version of Monarch Pro v 7.01 with 17 licenses. Users that need access to Monarch have been setup using the admin.exe file. Each time a user wishes to access Monarch, he/she is prompted to enter her username.

Question: Is there a way to pass the user name as a parameter when running Monarch from the command line using a batch file?

      Thanks,

      Suhas

There is a registry entry that needs to be correct on the client machines and should contain the exact user name.

          HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareDatawatchMonarch ProSettingsMonUser

(Note this will be Monarch, not Monarch Pro for Monarch Standard)

            /b[/quote]Gareth,

We are actually logging on to a Citrix server from where users can access Monarch. Each time they click on the Monarch icon, they first have to enter their user name when prompted.

When running monarch from the command line in batch mode, the user is still prompted to enter their username, otherwise it does not proceed. I was wondering if there was a way to pass the username as an argument so that the username prompt does not pop-up.

            Thanks,

            Suhas
