    A few questions

We are looking for a data mining report software on the web.

I didn't find some good information on the datawatch web site, so i post this.

I don't understand how Monarch work.

      We use a Oracle DB.

How created the report ? with Monarch, with a other report software ?

Must we have only the choice upon print files, spool files, TXT files, formatted ASCII files, PRN files and SDF files ?

      Thanks for the answers.

          Hi Didier,

Are you calling from Metz in France?  We have a French salesperson in the UK on +44 1752 241460.  Or send me a private message with your contact details and I can get him to call you.

There are two ways to use Monarch with an Oracle database.

          1. Report

You would need to create the report using a separate report writing package.  The advantage of using Monarch rather than just the report writer is that you can write just one simple report, and then use Monarch to mine the data in many different ways rather than have to write a separate report for each view.

          2. ODBC

If you have a compliant ODBC driver for Oracle, you can extract the data straight from the database into Monarch.  Monarch is read only, so there is no danger of accidentally overwriting the Oracle data.
