    Monarch Batch-Scripting ?

      Hi,

       

      is Monarch V 6.01 able to use it in batch scripting ? I want to open the programm, open a report , open a modell, convert to table, save as file *.dat, close monarch.

          Yes, Monarch can do this.

            Hi there,

            here is an example of a batch file that does what you you ask for:

             

            CD

            M:

            CD MONARCH

            CD PROGRAM

            MONARCH.EXE I:IMPORTRKFRO01 kfro01b.prn I:IMPORT kfro01RKFRO01.mod

            I:IMPORT kfro01 kfro01.dat /t

             

            The batch file opens monarch, then opens a report called rkfro01.prn, applies model rkfro01.mod, and finally exports the table view (the 't' parameter means table) to a file called rkfro01.dat
