Stripping the quote character from a field

    Tom Strachan

      Hello everyone,

I'm familiar with the strip function, but the character I need to remove is giving me trouble.

The field occasionally contains the quote character (").  This causes big problems in Excel when the table is exported.  (Excel ignores the normal export rules and concatenates all the data into one enormous text cell).

I would be happy to create a calculated field, removing every instance of the character using the following:

           strip(,")

but that formula obviously won't work because it would look like this:

           strip(,""")

Any thoughts about how I can eliminate this problem via Monarch?  I'm a v9 Pro user.

      Many thanks for the assistance!
